RAM factory bed reference

Use feet and inches: RAM 1500 factory box labels include 5 ft 7 in and 6 ft 4 in, depending on cab and model year. These are not 5.7 and 6.4 decimal feet. RAM 2500 / 3500 factory choices include 6 ft 4 in and 8 ft; a 5 ft 7 in choice must not be offered for these HD models. RAM 1500 Classic / DS, newer 1500 / DT, and 2500 / 3500 require separate fitment checks. RamBox-equipped beds also require a specific compatibility check.

RAM truck cap questions

Does engine displacement identify the correct canopy bed size?

No. Engine displacement and bed length are different measurements. A 5.7L engine does not identify a 5 ft 7 in cargo bed. Measure the bed and confirm the truck series, model year and body generation before choosing a canopy.

Can I add windows, tool boxes or a rack?
